Yoga
This is Sven. I named him that...just now. He's my strong yoga instructor that talks with his hands, teaches me how to do each pose and why that pose is good for me, and generally motivates me to come back each day.
There's only one drawback. When he starts to talk he sounds...well...not very masculine. Luckily for me I have a manly-man husband. Who is usually sitting on the couch when I do my yoga. He likes to give me tips...even though he never does it himself. So really I have two yoga instructors. The feminine sounding man, Sven, and my handsome, bossy husband who is much cuter than the televised man...but less experienced with yoga.
The kitty is working on patenting his own special kind of yoga. Sleeping Yoga. It's gonna be a big hit.

Pray for his health...
My husband has suddenly come down with an odd kind of growth that we aren't sure what to do about. It is uneven and lumpy and protrudes about 8 inches from his stomach. It also tends to wiggle around, which is weird. We have an appointment with a specialist.

It's just my boys...doing their thing.

Sneaky
To protest our departure, the kitty runs to the front door and hides under the mat. I'm not sure if it's because he thinks he's going to scare us as we walk out...or if he thinks he'll be able to escape to the beautiful outdoors while we're leaving...Probably he just knows that it is so cute to see him hiding that we'll pick him up and cuddle him one more time before we leave.
Hey, I don't call him the cat-child for nothing.

Sack of Potatoes
If you don't know for sure, trust me on this one. I'm from the nation's top potato producing county! I know a thing or two about spuds.
Speaking of spuds, how much do you think my kitten-child weighs?
?
?
?
?
Yup, he weighs ten pounds. Which doesn't seem too outrageous....until you realize that he's as heavy as a sack of potatoes. Seriously, contemplate that for a minute. Go into your pantry and pick up a sack of potatoes. It's heavy. Who ever knew that cats could be so heavy?
Side note: We had a ton of fun last night with our family...everyone loves it when "the kids" come! I made cookies with the girls and everyone helped to eat them! This is a sneak preview for you:

Couch Potato

Hee hee hee....Kitty loves to watch baseball. He gets that from his dad. Not that I don't like baseball...I just don't like to watch it every single time that it is on.
Hee hee hee...Kitty likes to sit in a shoebox.
Ok...enough of my sleep deprived ramblings for now. Our nieces and nephews are visiting this week, so hopefully I'll have something much more exciting for tomorrow!

Cute Pictures
These pictures were taken at a church BBQ last week. I was mezmerized by this little girl...she likes to smile for pictures, but these shots captured a little something else.
This is Baby Chase. He likes to eat rocks. My husband is very good at giving rocks to babies that like to eat them. Why do they do that? It probably is good for their developing immune systems. I just read that some allergies are caused by "bored" immune systems...if a baby's immune system has nothing to fight, it will start picking on things like dustmites which leads to allergies. Has anyone else heard anthing like that?
My kitty looooooves to play in cardboard boxes.

I don't think words are needed for this photo.

The Kitten-Child
Isn't he grand? My cat-child, Gideon, is pretty sure he's the King of the World.
And why shouldn't he be? He comes when we whistle. He always uses the litterbox. And he is the most playful and affectionate kitten you've ever seen! Seriously, you've never known a cat like this. Allow me to explain...
Awww....this is Kitty's favorite place to nap. I snapped this picture the other day when my two boys were sleeping.
Have I mentioned that he loves vegetables? This picture was taken right after he jumped on the counter, knocked off the entire salad bowl, and then settled in on the ground to feast. He really eats this kind of stuff....broccoli is his favorite. He also enjoys cilantro and strawberry hulls.
This is not his most flattering picture, I know. But it CRACKS ME UP! This is a photo of my sweet kitten sound alseep in the sun. How does he contort himself like that?!?
My grandma doesn't like his ears because of this picture. The sun is shining from behind him which is why his ears look kind of transparent and pink... They don't usually look like that. I think he's adorable!
